We just got one of these, and it is such a pleasure. We're a creative group so have a bunch of different machines (Macs, PC, Unix) to back up. The ReadyNAS has been seamless. Even after everything was backed onto it, there was hardly a dent in the storage capacity. What used to take a giant closet of equipment has just been replaced by a sleek little box. It is truly a marvel!

This is a powerful and very flexible platform for all your storage needs. Out of the box it provides wholesale upgradable storage. With a little work, it can become your personal webserver, streaming media server, FTP server, remote data server through VPN, the list goes on! This is all, of course, while being under the protection of RAID. The best part is there is a thriving online community that can help you with anything you might want to do with this little machine. I've been consistently impressed by the ReadyNAS. I highly recommended it to anyone wanting flexible network storage!
